37% See Race Relations Getting Worse
Americans are now slightly more optimistic about the state of race relations in the country, but many still see a dire picture.
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that only 29% of American Adults believe race relations in the nation today are good or excellent, including just seven percent (7%) who rate them as excellent. That’s slightly up from February. Twenty-six percent (26%) now give U.S. race relations a poor rating, down from 31% in February. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
